Jesus Made an Ash Wednesday Appearance on a Tortilla in New Mexico
We love following JESUS appearances . . . you just never know WHERE an image of him will turn up. But now, we know where he spent his Ash Wednesday.
Last week, on Ash Wednesday, David Sandoval of Albuquerque, New Mexico was sitting down to eat a baked tortilla . . . when he saw Jesus had appeared.
David decided not to eat the Holy Tortilla . . . instead, he saved it and posted a photo of it on Facebook. Eventually the photo made its way to the local news, and now David's tortilla has become a big story.
David says, quote, "Everybody has been able to see it. They're calling it a miracle. New Mexico has always been known to have interesting things happen during Lent time."
He and his family are now looking for a way to preserve the tortilla.
